Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before booking any service. By making a booking with Limo Milano S.r.l. you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not proceed with a booking.

1. Service description

Limo Milano S.r.l. ("Limo Milano", "we", "us") provides premium chauffeured ground transportation services in Milan and throughout Italy, including airport transfers, point-to-point transfers, hourly hire, event logistics, and related ancillary services. All services are provided subject to these Terms of Service and, where applicable, any supplementary terms communicated at the time of booking. By completing a booking you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full.

2. Booking and cancellation

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from Limo Milano (email or WhatsApp). Requests submitted via our website, telephone, or third-party platforms constitute enquiries only until confirmed.

Cancellation policy:

  • Cancellation more than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up: full refund, no charge.
  • Cancellation between 24 and 48 hours before pick-up: 50% of the total booking value will be charged.
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before pick-up, or no-show: 100% of the total booking value will be charged.
  • Special events (motor shows, fashion weeks, Grand Prix, public holidays): 72-hour cancellation notice required; outside this window a 100% charge applies.

Amendments to booking details (date, time, destination) are accepted subject to availability. We reserve the right to apply a reasonable administration fee for amendments made within 12 hours of the scheduled pick-up.

3. Pricing and payment

All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT at the applicable Italian rate unless otherwise stated. Prices cover the agreed journey and waiting time allowance (30 minutes for domestic departures; 60 minutes for international arrivals). Additional waiting time is charged at the hourly rate for the vehicle category.

Payment is accepted by credit card, bank transfer, or corporate invoice for approved accounts. Full payment is required at the time of booking for individual bookings. Corporate account clients are invoiced monthly in arrears on agreed terms (typically 30 days net).

Surcharges may apply for journeys requiring motorway tolls, airport fees, parking charges, late-night or early-morning hours (22:00–06:00), and public holidays. Any applicable surcharges will be disclosed at the time of quotation.

4. Liability

Limo Milano carries professional liability and passenger liability insurance as required by Italian law. In the event of an incident caused by our chauffeur, our liability is limited to the coverage provided by our insurance policy.

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, road accidents not involving our vehicles, air traffic control disruptions, strikes, civil disorder, or other force majeure events. In such cases we will make all reasonable efforts to complete your journey and will communicate proactively.

Limo Milano is not responsible for items left in vehicles. Found property will be held for 30 days; collection or forwarding can be arranged at the passenger’s cost.

5. Vehicle use

Our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards and presented in immaculate condition. Passengers are required to treat all vehicles with care. The following are strictly prohibited inside our vehicles:

  • Smoking (including e-cigarettes and vaping devices)
  • Consumption of food without prior agreement with the chauffeur
  • Any activity that is illegal under Italian law
  • Behaviour that is abusive, threatening, or otherwise unreasonable toward the chauffeur

The client is responsible for the cost of cleaning or repairs required as a result of soiling or damage caused by the passenger(s). This includes contamination of upholstery or carpets. A minimum cleaning charge of €250 applies for vehicle soiling.

6. Passenger obligations

Passengers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations during the journey, including seat belt usage as required by the Italian Highway Code (Codice della Strada). Child safety seats must be requested at the time of booking; availability cannot be guaranteed without advance notice.

Passengers travelling with excess luggage beyond what was declared at booking may be required to arrange separate vehicle provision at their own cost. Our chauffeurs are not obliged to transport luggage that cannot be safely accommodated in the vehicle.

The number of passengers must not exceed the licensed seating capacity of the vehicle. Our chauffeur reserves the right to refuse carriage where this condition is not met.

7. Insurance

All Limo Milano vehicles operate under full commercial passenger-carrying vehicle insurance as required under Italian law (Legislative Decree 209/2005 — Codice delle Assicurazioni Private) and EU Directive 2009/103/EC. Copies of insurance certificates are available on request. Passengers are encouraged to maintain their own travel insurance for personal belongings, medical expenses, and journey disruption, as our policy does not cover these elements.

8. Governing law and disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Italy. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or the services we provide shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan (Foro di Milano), unless mandatory provisions of Italian consumer protection law (Legislative Decree 206/2005 — Codice del Consumo) require otherwise for disputes with consumers.

Consumers resident in the European Union have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
